This little game effect made me think of this new unit : Amphibious vehicle
If it had never been think before.

Why not create a transport that can go on land and sea.
While putting in its data the average between the transport plane and the transport boat?
Whether in the displacement or in the number of units to transport?
Transport aircraft: 13 of range - 5 capacities - cost 550
Transport boats: 10 of range - 15 capacities - cost 220
Here are the possible characteristics:
Cost: 380
Attack: 1
Defense: 2
Crit: 5
Health points: 10
Cost by turn: 38
Range: 11
Capacities: 10 ( no tank )
Collateral: 0

I like it though would reduce the range otherwise the value of air trans will be diminished somewhat, test it on a custom map.

Yes I understand for the transport plane, that's why I propose not to be able to transport the tanks in this new unit, to balance the thing and always give importance to the transport plane.

So it can go anywhere like an AT , but can only carry inf. like the sub can only carry marines?
It can go anywhere and could carry militia, infantry, marine.

Use map editor to create a new replica of the whole world map and add new units, like this one you're suggesting
