There is treason in our Midst amongst our Allies, Our reports have yet to find the wolf Amongst the Sheep, find this Fucking Weasel and punish those who seek to threaten the Alliance.


Traitor mode is a proposed mode where there are normal players (Allies) and A Traitor player who is randomly selected to Kill all of the other players or use deceit to turn players against each other and kill everyone, No one knows who the Traitor is until the Traitor attacks or is Caught in some way.

The game begins with All players automatically Peaced, Within the first 10 Seconds the game randomly selects all of the players, choosing one of them to be the Traitor, and the rest as Allies.

The Traitor receives extra Income to produce more units, which can be Seen as a way to catch him in the act of sending large armies across the map, and has a general range boost being another way to catch him or her.

To keep things Chaotic and have the Allies on thier toes: The Traitor will be given units as part of the game that will appear as Grey Units, these Units do not display the ownership and thus hides the Traitors identity, This Is to keep the game going and preventing people from allying together and to Break alliances and tensions.

The game only ends when the Traitor is killed or all of the Allies are Killed. After each player is killed the game announces what that player was for ex:

"Guest1023 Was Defeated! He was an Ally."
"The Traitor Guest2234 was Put to death, Justice is served!"

Traitor: "Look at those Fools, You are the Traitor, Kill them All!"
-Receives extra Income
-Range boost (as a way for people to better catch the Traitor in the act)
-Must turn other players on each other and Kill them all.
-Game ends if victorious

Allies "Find the Scum and Kill it!, You are an Ally."
-Must Find the Traitor and Kill him
-Must look for any suspicious moves that can identify the traitor
-Try to Prevent the Traitor from Turning Allies against Each other.

GAME MECHANICS
-All players are Peaced at the beginning of the game.
-The Traitor is randomly selected, nobody knows who the traitor is until he or she attacks.
-When the Traitor is defeated or is victorious the Game ends
-Can be enabled or disabled in the Advanced Settings tab
-Even with everyone allied the Traitor MUST Kill everyone or be killed for the game to be won. (ally victory mechanic Disabled)

Consideration
-Should all players not be allied at the start?
-Any other ways of making the Traitor

Nobody knows the Traitors Identity, If everyone peaced, they'd have to wait a bit to.

Perhaps as a measure, The traitor can attack anonymously with a "Insurrecion". Units that appear as blank, only owned by the traitor, no name or ownership, Even color for the name comes up if he takes a Country with these units. Forcing people to retaliate and raise suspicion

Hmm it interesting however to randomly get elected as 'traitor' while still displaying a member nation of the 'Alliance' is sadly not in the game... wish it was would make this game even more interesting
Edit: those grey units also pretty decent however as stated above its very difficult to put units into map where 1 randomly elected guy can only make them
