I believe the admins dont understand that once clans reach 1300, 1400 elo, there will still be clans with 900. 1000, 1100 elo. Once that happens this cw system will be the same as last one, gaining 2,3 elo for win, and losing 17, 18, 19 in case of a loss.

Is that not the point of an elo system? If you outclass another clan by 400 points, which is a substantial difference in whatever elo measures (competence? skill?), then winning over than clan should not be particularly rewarding.

1st point I agree with, minimum cws 10 to start with at least needs to be included. 2nd point, it will actually force the better clans of the season to compete with each other, it eliminates the 'farming' of clans with low elo. Max win loss would actually be bad, terrible in fact, as eventually you would get to a point where it is impossible to catch up even if you are consistent (like old system) Remember also it is reset at the end of the season to 1000 so you will have a chance every season, just rewards activity AND consistency.

This. @Eagle ....it doesnt matter how high your clan elo is or the gap when the season elo gets a reset and overall clan elo isnt a factor.

OK, I agree with you on 2nd point. *mind changed*, but there is still no incentive to play clans with low elo. as 17 wins against high elo clans can get smashed to bits by 4 losses to low elo clans, my concern is that this will discourage activity. I understand the point that wins should be rewarded when against in-form clans, I guess without set fixtures and league the system will never be foolproof, but given the nature and activity levels of the clan war system, that is also impossible. But the cw system is a lot better than before in my opinion.

The incentive is still there from both sides, the lower ELO guys want to play the inform team, and the guys in form will want to improve their score, especially if another clan or two are close behind. In second scenario they have the choice to go vs the 'easy' out of form team for smaller reward/risk or against the people on their tails. Either way this system stops clans getting to the top and then stopping with their activity.
